The PTO puts together a number of fundraisers throughout the school year that benefits everyone in our Craig Community.

Your participation in fundraisers directly supports activities and programs for our students, staff and teachers. Thank you for supporting us and the Craig Community.

Details about these fundraisers will be emailed, added to the Craig Connection, shared on our Facebook Page or sent home with students throughout the year.

 

Craig Clothing

 

The PTO has one or two Craig clothing sales each year. We also buy extra items and try to have those available throughout the school year. We have some shirts available now. Contact the PTO if you want to purchase a shirt.

 

 

  

 

 

Book Fair

 

Books make great gifts! We usually run two Scholastic book fairs each year. We usually host book fairs in the Craig library or gym. The first book fair is usually held in December and a second is held in the spring. 

 

Chocolate and Candy Sale

This fundraiser is extra sweet- since you get to satisfy your sweet-tooth while earning money for he Craig School PTO.

This is an early spring fundraiser. 

Grocery Shopping at Market 32

Earn money for Craig when you shop at Price Chopper or Market 32. Sign up your AdvantEdge card at

pricechopper.com/tools-schools

Box Tops for Education

Register at boxtops4education.com and shop at your favorite stores to earn eBoxTops. Scan Box Tops and your receipt from household products to earn 10¢ each for Craig.

Return Cans and Bottles through Clynk

 

Make money for Craig while recycling. Pick up a green Clynk recycling bag at school, fill it with empty cans and bottles and then simply bring the bag to a local Hannaford. You scan the bag and drop it off to earn cash for the PTO.

Craig Earns 20% of sales from Mabel's Labels if you click on Craig Elementary PTO (Niskayuna) under "Support a Fundraiser".

Craig PTO is a non-for-profit.  We accept donations to support programs for the students. You can donate right here on our website. 

 

 

 
 
 

CRAIG CLOTHING/GEAR SALES

We have school spirit days throughout the school year. One way to show your school spirit is by rocking Craig School clothing.

All of the money raised goes right back to supporting the students, teachers and staff of Craig Elementary School. That includes social events, assemblies, after-school enrichment, and much more. SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR 

The book fair is a favorite among students at Craig Elementary School. The book fair usually is held in person in the library or gym for a week during school hours for students; we also open the book fair one evening for parents, grandparents, friends and siblings to come in and take a look at what the fair has to offer.
 
Our school earns 25% on all purchases during the book fair. 
 
    
 
Book fair sales raise cash for the PTO and school library. It also raises book points used by Craig School Librarian Suzy Sogoian to purchase books for the school library for all students to use.
 
Depending on how well our fall scholastic book fair does, we also host a Buy-One-Get-One Book Sale in the spring.

Supplies are expensive! Be sure to label them!

The PTO is teaming up with Mabel's Labels for a fundraiser.

The sale is ongoing, and will continue through the end of the school year. We make 20% of all sales.

KRAUSE'S CANDY SALE 

Craig Elementary School partners with Krause’s Homemade Candy of Albany, New York, for our spring fundraiser. The fundraiser is still with delicious treats for your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to purchase through this candy sale. The best part is that 50% of the proceeds go directly to our school!

There are ways you can help the PTO while doing your regular shopping. 

Here are some of the ways you can help:

 

  • Signing up for Tools for Schools through Price Chopper. Sign up your AdvantEdge card at pricechopper.com/tools-schools (Craig’s code is 16023)

  • Buying Box Tops Products  (Send clipped logos to school in an envelope marked "PTO".) You can also register at boxtops4education.com and shop at your favorite stores to earn eBoxTops.

  • Using Clynk Bags and return bottles and cans at Hannaford. (Clynk Bags can be sent home with students who are in person; families of virtual learners can pick them up as requested.)
